General Motors Electric Vehicle Program – 1996
Responsible for consolidation of all General Motors Electric Vehicle groups in satilite buildings into one newly renovated office, laboratory & shop. Developed planning, construction documents, move and equipment coordination, cost estimates and budgeting.
Saturn Corporation (General Motors) – 10/88 –06/02 – Senior Architectural Planner – responsible for all planning of S.E. Michigan buildings. Facilities management of furniture, building services, CAFM information and reports . Review BOCA for code requirements and existing violations. Provide installation and construction drawings in Autocad format for all planning, renovations and rearrangements projects. Review and schedule work assignments with local Union skilled trades and outside general contractors.
Ford Motor Company - Dearborn Engine Fuel Tank Plant – 9/92–06/95 (Contract) Architectural Designer / Project Manager - responsible for implementing AutoCad as primary cadd software, including translation of existing cadd files to new Autocad format. Primary design leader for major fuel tank automation renovations of existing and new fuel tank assembly lines. Design structural drawings for new wet decks, including drainage, grades, flumes, coolant recovery systems. Design, draw and coordinate foundations and footings for press operations and machinery.
General Motors Corporation - Warren Technical Center – 01/85–08/92 Plant Engineering Department – Architectural discipline: responsible for setting up cadd standards, building databases, machinery and furniture installation drawings, assisted mechanical and electrical engineers with schematic drawings, implemented preventative maintenance schedules and drawings.
K-Mart Corporation – Troy Headquarters 10/80-12/84 Construction Department
Architectural Group Leader: Responsible for renovation of existing retail buildings nation wide and
New K-mart retail stores. Special projects group required to develop complete retail sites for local and national tenants.
